Out at the Steelman Fieldhouse and notified that when the team returned last night to the campus from the out-of-town games, the front door was propped open and all of the lights were turned on in the Fieldhouse with nobody in the building.
Out at the Fine Arts Center to unlock a restroom.
Vehicle unlock at the Science Center.
Out at the Fred J. Taylor Library and Technology Center at the request of staff to speak to an unruly student.
Out at the library and the FAC to look at camera placement in the buildings.
Feb. 23
Out with a vehicle parked in the grass behind the John F. Gibson University Center.
Open the FAC so a parent could retrieve a cell phone that one of the Hamburg band students left in the bathroom.
Out at Bankston Hall to unlock a room that the duty master would not open. In the dorm visiting with some students.
Feb. 24
Traffic light with little activity around campus.
Some light vehicle traffic around dorms and a meeting going on at Jeter Hall with no incidents.
Feb. 25
Patrolling all areas for parking violations. Traffic normal.
Out for two vehicle unlocks.
Out to Drew Central to work accident at the request of the Monticello Police Department.
Went to monitor the event at the FAC. There were only 18 students present, and was notified it was not necessary for Public Safety to stay.
Received a call about the scoreboard light being left on at the softball field. Called maintenance, but the worker did not know how to turn it out. Went to turn off the scoreboard and show worker where the switch is located.
Monitor traffic on campus. Monitor four-ways. Make traffic stop. Issue a verbal warning for speed to non-student.
Heavy rain at times. Not much activity on campus.
Feb. 26
Attend Municipal Court.
Help with Auxiliary class.
Call about scoreboard being on at the baseball field. Call maintenance.
Patrolling areas. Two vehicle unlocks on campus.

Feb. 27
In the Public Safety Office issuing parking permits and conducting dispatcher training.
Traffic stop on University Drive with a UAM student for excessive speed (46 mph in a 25 zone). Citation issued.
Traffic stop on University Drive with a UAM student for excessive speed (43 mph in a 25 zone). Citation issued.
Issuing parking citations.
Out at Bankston Hall to assist parole and probation officer with home visit of client.
Out at the Science Center to allow a student to recover her purse from a class room in the A wing.
A call to check a coffee pot in Willard Hall that was possibly left turned on. Coffee pot was in fact left on.
Out with a female who was on her way into Bankston Hall with a male resident. She said they were going to get something from his room. I advised her that visiting hours were over for the night and that she needed to stay outside while he went in to get the item. Remained until the female left for her dorm room.
Feb. 28
In the Public Safety Office Issuing parking permits and conducting dispatcher training.

Issuing parking citations.
Out at the Memorial Classroom Building to stand by for professor expected to remove a student from class.
Boost vehicle at Bankston Hall.
Out at cafeteria to monitor students. One student refused to show a student identification card at the cashier's desk and was walked back to the cashier to speak with the manager. Student showed his ID.
Out at the Fieldhouse for vehicle blocking parking. Issued a municipal citation.
Traffic stop for expired LPN. Juvenile driver with learner's permit in grandfather's truck. Father stated he will make sure it is corrected in the morning. Warning citation issued.
Traffic stop with second unlicensed vehicle from the previous night. Driver had a suspended Arkansas driver's license and no registration on vehicle. Municipal citation was issued.
A call about the parking around the Fieldhouse. Issued citations for improper parking.
A call from the resident assistant at Maxwell Hall advising that there was a red flatbed truck on campus asking about a student which seemed suspicious to him. Made contact with the truck. Subject was a repo-man trying to locate a vehicle that was supposed to be on campus.
Traffic stop on Scogin Drive.
Check a couple of students who were walking in the road by the MCB.
