Order in the Circus, I mean Court

A court in Texas began the hearings of the largest child-custody hearings in U.S. history April 17 in the case of the 416 children taken from the polygamist camp. What began as an organized hearing turned into a circus-like atmosphere with multiple attorneys shouting objections for their clients. This Week’s Read:

“In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote. "In Cold Blood" is a tale of two men who murder a family of four in the small town of Holcomb, Kan. The book takes you along on a journey before, during and after the murders and into the lives of the murdered, the murderers and the people around the deceased. Capote uses a composite character in the story and uses many literary devices in this story that he first read as a newspaper story. He gives you the thoughts of the victims through the descriptions of the people who knew them.
