Police Log

April 11

   In the Public Safety office to issue parking permits and decals, and to submit NIBRS report to the Federal Bureau of Investigations.  Checking terroristic threatening case that was reported to an officer yesterday.

   Out with the subject in reference to the terroristic threatening case that was reported.  Subject was cited and given a court date, also was served a campus ban letter.

   Traffic stop for loud music.  Vehicle unlock at Maxwell Hall.

   The barricade in front of the stadium entrance was in the road.  Picked up and moved onto the sidewalk.

   Traffic stop on University Drive for speeding (50 in a 35).  UAM citation issued.

   Traffic stop on University Drive for suspended driver's license, improper equipment, no Arkansas LP and speeding (37 in a 20).  The subject waited for a ride from his mother.  The subject's vehicle was parked in front of Steelman Fieldhouse until his girlfriend could pick it up.  No citation was issued due to possible registration error.

   Out at the University Apartments with a Monticello Police Department officer to talk with two students about a cell phone civil matter.

April 12

   Assisting with a car transfer between two students.

   Traffic light on campus.

April 13

   Traffic was light on campus.

April 14

   Boost at the Science Center gravel parking lot.

   Traffic stop with a student for a rolling stop at the Agriculture building stop sign.  Verbal warning given.

   Working parking areas.  Out at Bankston Hall with another officer to install lockout in first-floor room.

   Out for a vehicle unlock at the Science Center.  Out for vehicle unlock at the post office.

   Call from the John F. Gibson University Center about a subject passing out in the cafeteria.  Her friends picked her up and carried her outside.  Unable to locate any group of females walking around campus.  No further calls on the incident.

April 15

   In office issuing decals.  Check all of the parking lots around campus.  Monitor traffic on campus.

   Issue citations around campus.  Monitor four-ways.

   Out to talk with students in different locations around the campus.  Monitor traffic leaving the campus.

April 16

   Out at Family Housing about a harassing phone call.

   Monitoring traffic around campus.  Traffic stop with an unlicensed vehicle.  Vehicle had Arkansas temporary tags.  Everything OK; no citation issued.

   Monitoring traffic around campus.  Little activity.

   In the office issuing decals.  Start patrol of campus and check parking lots around campus.

   Remove pole in front of the University Center.

   Out at the office to answer questions about some cases. 

   Issue a few citations.  Go unlock a vehicle at the Babin Business Center.

   Monitor four-ways.  Go boost vehicle at Royer Hall.  Go unlock vehicle at the University Center.

   Out with a large group of students in front of the University Center.  After a few minutes, the group dispersed.
