Sept. 2
Heavy bands of rain and wind on campus this morning. No
power problems as of this time.
Traffic stop with UAM student for driving wrong way on one street. Issued verbal warning. Back on patrol.
Out at MBSF to remove a subject from campus. Subject has a ban from campus due to prior trouble. Escorted him off campus.
Back on campus patrol. Power went out for part of campus. Bankston, Science Center, Fine Arts Center and Public Safety did not have power. Maintenance came to PSO and started generator at office so phone system will work. Raining heavy during this time. Unknown how long power will be out.
Traffic stop with UAM student for expired tags on car. Subject had expired license, no proof of insurance and false tags on the car. Issued municipal citation for all of the above and had car towed.
Call from Horsfall about a student that had fallen on the front steps. Parent was with student and asked for an ambulance. Called for ambulance and went to Horsfall. Stood by until ambulance arrived and took student to Drew Memorial Hospital.
Out at Memorial Classroom Building to unlock staff member's car. Still raining heavily with gusty winds and is causing trouble all over the state with power outages.
Received a call from University Apartments A building about a piece of siding that came loose and was banging against the window. Reached out the window and removed the piece of siding upon arrival. Informed the duty boiler operator of the action.
Fire alarm at Horsfall hall.
The alarm was silenced and students returned to their rooms. Fire alarm
at Bankston Hall, probably due to diminished battery power.
Sept. 3

Placed cones out in high water on campus. Took many calls
about school closing. Patrolling all areas of campus.
Out at Willard Hall for a boost. Went to Math and Science Center for an unlock.
Out at Library for disturbance.
Complaint of loud music around Harris Hall. All quiet upon arrival.
Report of a door kicked in at Maxwell Hall. Will pass the information on to the relief officer for possible further action.
Completed a lighting chart. Numerous lights out around campus.
Sept. 4
Made a couple of traffic stops. Issued verbal warnings.
Assisted with securing buildings.
Out with group of students at Weevil Pond being loud. Checked I.D.s and everything was OK. Back on patrol and ran radar around the campus.
Patrolling all areas of campus. Out at Jeter Hall for an unlock.
Sept. 5
Out at Library with a group of male football students
making loud noise. I told them they were too loud anf for them to leave
the area. All complied except three subjects that went into the
Library. I followed them inside and told them to leave and one told me
he was waiting for the cafeteria to open. I told them to wait some
where else and that they needed to leave the area. All complied with
some grumbling.
Checked United States and Arkansas flags at the football stadium.
Patrolled campus. Football team in the University Center for team meeting. Numerous students out and about Weevil Pond. Made a traffic stop with UAM student for headlight out. Traffic stop with UAM faculty member for no stop at the stop sign. Verbal warning given. Football meeting ended and all players returned to their dorms.
Out on campus patrol. Taped off areas for tailgating. Very little activity on campus.
Sept. 6
Back on patrol. Game day and campus is bustling with pre-game activity. Opened the Band hall for students to get band water ready and iced down.
Out at Football field with Coach Early to talk about visiting team preparations. Gave him a list of names of Nailbenders for Jesus working on BCM for entry into the game.
Call from Family Housing about a leak in the laundry room. Called Maintenance to fix the problem.
Visiting team arrived and was escorted to the parking area and assisted with locker rooms. Parking went well with no incidents or problems.
Received a call that a juvenile female fell on the visitor side bleachers and sustained a minor knee injury. Made contact with one of the ambulance crews and requested they check her out. Juvenile was transported to Drew Memorial Emergency Room. Traffic stop with UAM student for running the stop sign at the Agriculture building.
Campus patrol. Football game ended with UAM winning 42 to 24. Out directing traffic to expedite fans' departure. Large numbers of students walking about campus.
Received a call from Monticello Police Department regarding a fraternity party that was shut down at the VFW hall. Students arrived back to campus without incident and immediately entered their dorms.
Sept. 7
Call from a concerned parent about their daughter. They had not talked to her since Thursday and wanted me to see if I could locate her. She was not on campus. Out next to Forestry with water leak under the road. Called Maintenance and they said it was scheduled to be repaired Monday. Back on patrol.
Traffic stop with UAM student for loud music. Issued verbal warning. Back on patrol.
Traffic stop with UAM student for headlight out. Gave him a warning to get the headlight fixed.
