Sept. 20

   Campus Patrol.

   Opened the Babin Business Center to allow a student to retrieve her bag and locked it immediately afterward. Checked buildings to ensrue they were locked.

Sept. 21

   Opened the Memorial Classroom Building for Coach Dykes to proctor the Football team study hall. Opened the debate lab for student on the authorization list. Approximately 15 - 20 students hanging out around the pond.

   Out at married housing for disturbance. Found a non-student at the scene and told her to leave. Issued verbal ban from campus to be followed by a written ban.

   Out at BBC to open lab for student worker. Back on patrol. Some activity around campus with students arriving back on campus from the weekend with no incidents during this time.

Call from cafeteria about a smell of rubber or plastic burning, coming from dishwashing room. Called Bubba Gardner to take a look. Back on patrol.

Sept. 22

   Out at Harris Hall to place flags at half-mast and drop off reports to staff member.

   Issued citations at Math and Science Center.

   Two traffic stops with students for speeding. Traffic stop with student driving in front of Bankston Hall backwards. Issued verbal warning to student driving with his headlights off. On patrol. Spoke with two large crowds of students at Bankston Hall and advised them it was quiet time. Spoke with group of women at Royer. Reminded them of quiet hour. Advised a large group of female students to leave Bankston Dorm parking lot and to stop yelling. Requested the group move to the pond area if they wished to visit.

Sept. 23

   Campus patrol. Out locking buildings.

   Patrolled campus. Issued parking permits.

   Boost at MCB. Back on patrol.

  Patrolled all areas. Everything OK.

Sept. 24

  In office to issue parking permits.

   Call to open MCB for Upward Bound.

   Campus patrol. Out locking buildings.

Sept. 25

   Campus patrol. Out briefly at Drew Central to check on football game. Informed by Monticello Police Department a student was killed in a traffic accident.

   Out locking buildings. Contacted by Royer Hall Resident Assistant a female student was throwing up blood. Contacted MPD dispatch and requested an ambulance. Ambulance arrived and transported student to the emergency room.

   On motor patrol. Out at Bankston Hall for unlock.

   Call to open south gate at "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for band practice. Called and got OK to open gate. Secured gate after practice ended. Back on patrol.

Sept. 26

  Patrolled all areas of campus and looked for violations. Everything appears OK.

   Patrolled campus. Received call about loud music from the new apartments. Back on campus patrol. Made traffic stop and checked IDs.

   Out at football stadium to raise U.S. and Arkansas flags.

   Received a call from Family Housing about individual driving around with a young child. Talked to the individual and issued citation for no driver's license and advised driver to park vehicle. Assisted with crowd control after volleyball game. Blocked off Harris Hall for football game.

Sept. 27

  Patrolled all areas of campus. Assist family members with directions to activities.

   Work football game and traffic afterwards.

   Out at Harris Hall to boost off parent heading back to Louisiana. Patrolled campus.

   Made a couple of traffic stops. Checked IDs and issued verbal warnings.

Sept. 28

   Opened MCB for football.    Monitored traffic and issued citations.

  Received a call from Chancellor Lassiter to meet Darren from Internet Technology at Wells Hall. A fan went out on the computer room and caused the Internet to shut down. Will check the fans every couple of hours. Locked buildings.

   Checked in a weapon.

   Received a call about loud music in the new apartments. Walked around residence halls. Checked the fans in Wells Hall.
