Australia’s 23-year-old twin sisters Lisa and Jessica
Origliasso, known as The Veronicas, unleash new album “Hook Me
Up.”
The Veronicas new album “Hook Me Up” originated in Los
Angeles where The Veronicas worked with many hit makers. Shelly
Peiken (Christina Aguilera), John Feldmann (Good Charlotte, The Used),
Gregg Wells (Mika) and Billy Steinberg (Madonna) collaborated with The
Veronicas to produce the album marked with electro beats.
The Veronicas conquered the land down under when they appeared in a fall 2005 promotional campaign for Choice Calvin Klein and sang the title song for the WB show “Related.” In March, the album's first single "4Ever" was featured in the Amanda Bynes comedy “She's the Man”, as well as on the soundtrack.
Adding to their evidence of fame, AOL named The Veronicas "Breaker Artist,” Blender magazine called Lisa and Jessica "Australia's rockingest twins” and The New York Post deemed The Veronicas as “the real thing.” The girls have also appeared on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as guest stars and created a fashion line called The Veronicas for Target.
On October 16, 2008 The Veronicas announced the Revenge
Is Sweeter Tour, which begins Feb. 13, 2009 in Newcastle and continues
for seven other dates concluding in Perth on Feb. 28, 2009 with the
