CIS Discusses Fundraiser for Angel Tree Kids

Chi Iota Sigma planned to hold a bake sale fund raiser to buy presents for two Angel Tree Children in a meeting Nov. 6.
The bake sale will be held Nov. 12-13. CIS members will be able to work the table, bring a food item or donate money.
The children selected from the Angel Tree comprise a 1-4 year-old female and a 2-16 year-old female. The list for the each child includes items such as:
- pants size
- shirt size
- dress size
- shoe size
- things
the child would like to have
The CIS club will also be collecting canned food for its Fall Can Food Drive Nov. 3-17. The canned food will be delivered Nov. 19.
The CIS meeting Dec. 4 will have a faculty buffet all day long, initiation of new members and the wrapping of the Angel Tree presents.
The CIS also:
- Read the minutes of the last meeting
- Read the treasurer’s report
- Asked a member to get information on possible places and prices for the CIS T-shirt
- Announced
that the officer’s meeting will be held Dec. 2.
