Fall is on its way here and the cold weather is drawing near so when you step into the season you may want to do it in style in this particular foot candy. The following are just a few trends that we’ll be seeing for Fall 2009 so take a look to see what to shop for:

Super High Boots
This season will be loaded with boots of all shapes, sizes and colors. However, the higher the boot, the better. Yes I mean thigh high too! Boots are great with anything; you can wear them tucked into skinny jeans or wear them with skirts or dresses as well. Some hot colors to look for are black, because it goes with anything, and colors that really stand out such as fuscia or turquoise. Remember, mixing and matching is very much in right now! So don’t worry about every item matching perfectly. The most popular boot this season is the flat bohemian moccasin boot. These are great over leggings and with skirts. Since it doesn’t tend to get too cold in these geographic parts you can wear them with shorts as well. A good brand of boots would be the Ugg boots, which can be found in stores or online. Though Uggs are quite costly, you can go to uggbootonsale.com for cheaper deals.
Lace-up Shoes

| Lacy Lady - These four different looks and styles have already hit the runway. |
This is a huge trend right now. The short “bootie” shoe with the lace up the center works really well with skinny jeans. If you have a short stature and you want to lengthen your frame then this really works. If you are known to break the barrier in fashion and love standing out then wearing the shoe in a black color such as the one in the picture below (top left corner) for an edgy look and pair with a complete grey outfit with a big accessory of some sort that pops out such as over sized pearls can give you an instant attention grabber look. It says both preppy and dark at the same time. You’ll see a lot of two looks in one this fall season.

Reptile Skins
Venture on the wild side for
anything from crocodile to ostrich. These are great because they go
with just about anything you wear. A suggestion would be getting these in
neutral colors such as black, brown, nude and white. And like many college
students who are on tight budgets check out the bellow picture of these
snake skin gladiator sandals from Avon that sell for just $25.

Gladiator Shoes
These shoes are not very
practical to wear on everyday occasions because they are hard to clean but they
do last for a while because of the material. So they are most definitely worth
every penny you spend on them. However watch out for lying price tags. Several
stores such as Dillards will try to sell you a shoe for way over what they are
actually worth when you can go to Target and get the same shoe for a much
reasonable price.
There are the fall’s top shoe trends for this year. For more style inspiration in case you wake up one day with no clue as to what to put on check out InStyle.com to see what the celebrities are wearing. Be back next week with fall’s best looking jackets!
