The last day to withdraw from a class with a “W” is Nov. 11. For some this is a hard decision to cope with. Brandon Arnold said,  " It's so hard to go through this process, it’s like you’re quitting and saying that you’re not smart enough to pass a certain class."

Debbie Bryant, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Registrar said, “This procedure is also very difficult on the faculty because you have to have your entire roll changed at times.”

To withdraw, a student must obtain a drop form from the Registrar's Office located in Harris Hall then their instructor must sign off as well as the student. The form then must be turned in to the Registrar's Office. If the student does not withdraw in time, he or she will receive and "F" for the class.

The withdraw process, though it may be easy,  it is at times a bitter procedure. Either way you may see it, Nov. 11 is going to be a busy day for some and a soul searching day for others.
