Chi Iota Sigma Sponsors Can Food Drive and Angel Tree Children

Chi Iota Sigma will be sponsoring a can food drive Nov. 2 - 20.
The donations can be dropped off in the Babin Business Centers Room 101. They plan to collect over 700 cans.
The CIS Club voted to sponsor two Angel Tree Children and will wrap the presents they receive at the next meeting Dec. 3. The CIS Club plans to give $100 to each child.
They sponsored two children last year. The club donated $100 to each child and faculty member and students donated other items such as clothes and toys. Last year, they made sure to get the children the big-ticket items.
The club also discussed donating cans to Juvenile Diabetes, Christmas Window painting and a T-shirt design contest. The designs for the contest need to be submitted by Dec. 3. They will look at the new designs as well as ones created last year
The next officers meeting will be held Dec. 1 and the next club meeting will be held Dec. 3.
