I am a junior majoring in Journalism with a minor in Spanish. I am the Vice President of UAM’s Student Ambassadors as well as the yearbook editor. I enjoy graphic design, writing and music. I am a freshman Music major and Journalism minor (Which my major may change). When I first heard of Journalism in high school it really didn't seem to catch my interest. My senior year I had some open slots for nothing to do so I tried Journalism and fell in love with it. I love to take pictures. To me there is so much more emotion in a picture then a story. I am a first time freshmen. I am currently majoring in English with a minor in Mass Communications. I am from Pine Bluff, AR. I graduated from Pine Bluff High School with intentions on excelling to the top in my college career. I was the co-editor of my high school's newspaper which inspired me to continue this journey in college. My main focus for joining The Voice was to be heard through my writings and not only for me to be heard, but the student body as a whole.
